Overview
This section includes brief descriptions of streets, squares, and shopping centres. Many, if not most, are included only for the sake of completeness and don't have anything on them that you're going to need in the first week.
I find it easier to remember things if I understand them, so I've translated street names where I could make sense of them. A particular difficulty arises in the translation of gränd in that (as it was explained to me) is “a narrow street that used to be a dead end”, which agrees with my dictionary's translation as “alley”, but it is used with the frequency of, perhaps, “avenue” in English. Nevertheless, I've stayed safe and left it as “alley”.
